Tennessee Starwort (Stellaria corei)
Large White Trillium - Trillium Grandiflorum
Also known as white trillium or great white trillium. These were in the woods near Rocky Fork Creek on April 9, 2016. There is another white trillium called a snow trillium that only gets to 3.5 inches. Have to watch out for that one.
Dutchman's Breeches - Dicentra cucullaria
April 9, 2016 on hillside rocks as descending along trail to the Rocky Fork their Dutchman's Breeches were hanging out.

Trillium Sessile
Again April 9, 2016 on rocky hillside near the Rocky Fork creek found many of these trilliums. Looks to be Trillium sessile (the toadshade, sessile-flowered wake-robin). Looks like this is not the purple trillium so the search will be continued.
Wild Blue Phlox
Some sort of wild phlox best guess is Phlox divaricata (wild blue phlox, woodland phlox, wild sweet william). April 9, 2016 in the woods near Rocky Fork creek in Ohio.

Always preferred side dishes
Recently saw my blog and thought as I am working on new habits it might be time to integrate posting again. Tonight green beans and mushrooms with a side of roasted butternut squash and Brussels sprouts. Not pictured is some rather poor whole wheat bread. Overall an enjoyable meal to prepare and eat. A glass of red wine improved both.

Ethiopian Stew
Last night we tried Chickpea and Kale Wat from Robin Robertson's Vegan without Borders cookbook. Doubled the kale and halved the amount of chickpeas. With that it was the right ratio for us. Spices a great combination. I didn't have tomato paste so cooked down a jar of diced tomatoes to make my own. Would definitely make this again. We had it over brown basmati rice which I needed to help with the heat.

January Cure
Besides all the cleaning I also did 7 loads of laundry. How then did I have the energy to make pizza? I am finally over this cold but I think it was the shower that revitalized me that made the pizza from scratch possible.
January Cure
Continued on to the closet. Moved stuff out, cleaned floor, wiped everything down, put everything back. Amazing thing is that all this fits in the closet. Just the stuff from one side of the closet fills the bedroom.
January Cure
Bedroom prepped for floor clean. The princes may enjoy this stack of mattresses. Hope to resolve the the his and hers mattress issue during the cure.
